Website use
The content on this website is provided for general information about Garrickaro Co. and typewriter care. While we strive for accuracy, guides are offered without warranty, and you follow do-it-yourself instructions at your own risk.
Estimates and approval
All repair work is quoted in writing after a bench inspection. Work begins only after your approval. If additional issues are discovered during service, we will contact you for approval before proceeding with any additional charges.
Turnaround times
Timelines provided are good-faith estimates and depend on parts availability and workload. We will keep you informed of significant changes.
Payment and pickup
Payment is due at pickup or before return shipping. Machines not collected within 90 days of completion notice may be subject to storage fees; machines unclaimed after 180 days may be considered abandoned in accordance with Colorado law.
Warranty
Repair work is warranted against defects in workmanship for 90 days from pickup. The warranty does not cover damage from misuse, accidents, improper transport or issues unrelated to the work performed.
Shipping
Customers are responsible for machines in transit to the shop. We pack returned machines carefully and can add carrier insurance at your request.
